My Diana and My Sara

Sometimes it is almost as things aren't meant to happen.

I bought my first Diana Mini, the version Love is in the air, last June (yeah, a long time ago). However I never even got to see the result for the camera was stolen before I even had a chance to develop the film.I then bought the Diana Mini Gold Edition as a Christmas gift for my self, there were some problems with the mecanism so after having 20 photos taken I decided to develop them and try to exchage it, once it was malfunctioning from the begging. The people at the lomography were very nice, I must say. The forst photo is from that first experience.So with a fully working Diana mini, the third in my hands, I took this photos of Sara. Diana and Sara are a perfect couple, they really work well together.So, after a rocky start I guess that it was meant to be after all. I love my Diana and I carry it everywhere.

Por vezes parece que as coisas não estão nas cartas.Comprei a minha primeira Diana Mini, a versão love is in the air, há quase um ano, contudo ela foi roubada sem eu ter oportunidade de revelar o primeiro rolo sequer.Ño Natal decidi voltar a investir e comprei uma Diana mini Gold Edition como prenda de Natal. Na altura pensei «não me recordo de ter de forçar tanto para o rolo rodar...», mas enfim.Ate que depois reparei que a máquina tinha defeito e fui à embaixada da lomografia trocar por uma nova. A primeira foto da sara foi tirada com a 2ª Diana da minha vida.As seguinte fotografias contudo, são frutos do amor que a Sara tem pela objectiva da 3ª Diana, a que não foi roubada e funciona como deve de ser. Então, depois de um início complicado, parece que sempre estava destinada a andar com a Diana Mini para todo o lado.Lição - Às vezes se não houver um bocadinho de luta, não se alcança resultados brilhantes.
